Chapter 2

Chapter two
A strange predicament.

Edward drove off into the woods anxious to get away from all the noise.
He parked his car by a small pound next to a stream.
His car shone and turned into a Red boat.
He got into it and started rowing downstream until he came to a waterfall then the boat and he went over the falls!
He came up out of the water as a golden eagle with sharp green eyes .
He flew above the water fall and landed on a cliff.

He watched the small village and thought about the day he had just gone through and about the girl that was so alone.He felt something for that girl because he to knew what it was like to be alone .

And there was something else he didn’t quite understand but there was something.
In all his years of not being able to sense or feel emotion there was something and it bothered him. But he hardly had time to think about it when suddenly there in front of him shone a white light! He changed back into human form and backed into the shadows. The light started fading and in its place was the form of a man floating in the air and with two large wings on his back! Edward remained in the shadows afraid! For the first time in his many years of life he knew what was before him and felt the fear.

Then the angel spoke and said "come out of the shadows Edward I have something I must speak to you of".
Edward crept out and stood on the edge of the cliff .

The Angel said "you do not need to be afraid I have come only as a friend to help you"? "Help me"? "How can you help me"? "I belong to hell"!

"Yes"! Said the Angel "and I to heaven"! "A force much more powerful then hell".
"You were born to a good Christian family Edward but your whole family led you astray and you became venerable to spirits and evil they were attracted to you and led you to this fate."We can help you though but first you must help us".

"Help you? How can I help you"?

"By helping me complete a mission.There is one thing you must know about me".
"I am Elena's Guardian Angel"!

"Oh really"! Now Edward felt embarrassed as well as scared was he coming to tell him to stay away from her because he was to attracted to her.

Edward now had a good view of the Angel and he took in this being who said he was her Angel.

He was tall strongly built and dressed in white robes with a rope cord around his waist his hair was blond and tied into a ponytail and he wore white sandals he had a very mischievous face and smile but a very sanguine and soft voice and very large wings on his back

The Angel smiled as if reading his thoughts and said "I see you are admiring my feature now is not the time I have an important mission to discuss with you".

"I have been working on her ever since she started going to school she has always been extremely shy and afraid of meeting new people".

"I noticed that when I spoke to her"!

"Anyway I have been trying to find a person who can be a friend to her and help her break out of her shy shell. "I spoke to the lord about it and he told me that he would send some one along the way who would help and he would also be wanting help". "For a long time I waited. "Then when you came to this town and wanted right away to talk to her and I saw she was attracted to you and believe me she doesn’t get attracted to boys very often and that she actually spoke to you because she hardly speaks to anyone except her uncle.That was my que" .

"But", said Edward "what is it you will be able to help me with if I do help"?
"What exactly am I supposed to do"?

"Be the friend to her that she never had and help her see things and help her get out of her shell". "The Lord hasn’t told me everything but he said it will benefit you both and he has something special planed for you both" .

"Oh one more thing she needs lots of protection because she is a loner and very shy so I am making you for the time being her Guardian you will have all my powers and know when something bad is about to happen and try to help her make the right choices in life if you do all this you will be released and set free if you so wish or we can grant you something else but a reward will be given".
Then in the blink of an eye he was gone!

I sat there for the longest time not able to comprehend what had just happened.
Why this after all these years of what could be called living was I chosen suddenly to become a Angel to this girl I had just met. I remember something I was told as a child the lord works in mysterious ways!
Well this truly was mysterious but I felt honored to be chosen because secretly I did sort of feel an attraction to this girl not the kind I usually did for humans but something deeper. But it was so slight I felt it might go away after a time so I thought no more on the subject.

But to think I would be set free! No more time going by and myself never being able to die, no more torture, no more hunger for blood, I would be set free! I could not imagine a greater reward at the moment so I decided it didn’t matter what God had up his sleeve I would take on the task and get my reward and the best thing was I could do it with a whole heart because I did feel sorry for this lonely shy girl .

As soon as she entered my thoughts something nudged at the front of my consence.
I saw her she was getting ready for bed in her house.
As soon as I thought of her I was suddenly there on the outside of her window watching her ."Well I thought this Angel power can tell port me to her how convenient all I need to do is think of her and I can be where she is".
I watched her undress and get in her bed deciding to give her privacy I shut her out of my mind but she was always there a little light at the end of my thoughts!

When I was sure she was asleep I turned her back into my thought and almost stumbled back at what was before my eyes.

She was awake no she was asleep. But in my mind I saw her in a forested area walking alone. Then I was there before her smiling she smiled in her sleep as she took my hand and we both walked off together into the sunset.

I smiled she was already dreaming of me I could hardy keep from laughing.

Suddenly the dream changed to a Gray city street! She was there along with two other older people who I took for her parents. I didn’t know how but I knew it was a night mare I tried to shut it off for her but it didn’t work!

"She didn’t ask"! Said a voice behind me I turned there was her Angel.

"She doesn’t have good protection.That is also one of your jobs get her back into her habit of praying against night mares"!

I continued to watch the dream. Suddenly the house was attacked by masked men with guns! There was gunfire and blood and screaming! She shot up in her bed screaming and crying. I felt the urge to comfort her. This time I could I put soothing thoughts into her mind to help her sleep then turned to ask the angel why I could do that but he was gone. I could feel her crying out for help in her mind and felt that was the reason why I could now help her! All she had to do was ask.
I watched her for the rest of the night monitoring her dreams.
They had no more meaning of importance and she slept without waking up until morning.

The sun was coming out today I could not go to school.
I would have to call in sick and quickly left back into the woods to hide from the sunlight as daylight came out.
