Chapter six .
Queen of the Ocean

The three made there way to the heart of the forest.
The center was the most beautiful and held the most magic.
The trees grew tall. All oak making a circle around a clear pool of water.
Rose petals and cherry blossoms decorated the floor as well as Autumn leaves and on a perch sat a white Dove watching them with gem like blue eyes.
It coed and flew towered the pool of water which rippled and the dove was gone .

They all circled around the pool and stared down the water was clear like a mirror and they could see right into it down inside was a coral reef shaped into a tent like object with sweet smells coming from it.

“I cannot go” said Grendle.

The others looked at him "Why"?

Because in case you forgot I am human and humans cannot breath under water.

“That’s not a problem” said Amber coming over to him and with a smile she said "I gave some of my power human and one of them is being able to breath under water so stop doubting and pouting and get your big but in that water" .

"But my cloths will get wet".

Amber sighed ,"Stop it so will ours now in" she shoved with surprising force and topped herself and Grendle into the water.

Jasper followed after them and down down they went into the coral reef.

In the reef was decorated with shells and odd artifacts tapestries woven with shells and a large shell in the center with smaller shell as a table a crystal ball sat in the center and across from them on a seat sat a very beautiful woman.

She had a heart shaped face with crystal blue eyes and a little pink mouth and straight noise with long silver blond hair to her middle and a very slim body white seashells and pearls covered her breast and her tail was like the inside of a shell rainbow colors.

She smiled at them all and said come in a flowing melodies voice sit one at a time she stretched out her hand and the shell grew a few inches higher.

"Amber you first sit across from me I shall read your future"!

Amber stepped forward and sat across from the Queen of the Ocean .

The mermaid placed both hands in hers and then touched them both against the crystal ball "look into the ball and remember what you see if for your eyes alone".

Amber looked into the ball and saw something she could not make out or understand.
A mountain a man a tomb ,a dagger, a path, and a heart.

"A choice she heard in her head a choice you must make or let love overrule".

Then the crystal went blank.

Amber looked up into the mermaids eyes "what dose it mean "?
she asked.

"That my child I cannot say it is for you to find out on your own", "what is seen in the crystal remains in the heart of the one for whom it belongs to and it is for them to decide upon its true meaning."

Next Jasper he flew over and landed on the table.

The mermaid smiled at him and said

“For you little one”
Starring intensely at the crystal and the three watched in amazement as it began to shrink until it was the size of a ping pong ball ".

"Hold it "She said,

" Look into it and remember, "What you see is for you alone "

Jasper stared into the ball and saw
A dagger ,a tomb, a heart and the word ,trust, a mountain ,and a broken heart.

"A choice "said the voice "you have a choice ".

Then he was back the crystal back to its original size.

"Grendle"! Said She as Jasper flew back.

He came and sat and soon he two stared into the crystal what he saw was
A forked road, and at the end of each road was a heart one was whole one was broken and straight ahead was a question mark.

"A choice "said a voice "you must make a choice."
