A MAGICAL TALE!
Prologue I stared at the girl could she be the one I thought to myself.......

Chapter1.
Hi my name is Edward I was the prince of England and I lived with my father and mother! I had black Hair up to my shoulders black blue eyes clean cut face a little and a strong body! I want to tell you a story a true one about how I meet the girl of my dreams and the true meaning of love!

It stared one my 17th birthday I was going for a ride around the castle when I heard screaming it sounded like some was calling for help and it also sounded like a girl so I followed the voice and came to a deserted part outside the castle there I saw a group of men cornering a young girl no more then15 I rushed over to them yelling stop that they looked back and must have recognized me because they shouted to each other it’s the prince let’s get out of her fast and they rushed off like the cowards they were !

Then I looked at the girl to see if see was alright!

She was cowering in a corner looking frightened I slowly walked up to her trying my best not to frighten her more I said “all you are right” she nodded then I said “you don't have to be afraid I won’t hurt you”. I moved closer she did not budge so went closer until I could see her properly she had long black hair up to her waist green gray eyes a strong but beautiful face and a small body!

I had never seen someone so lovely in all my life it was love at first sight.

She stood up and said “thank you your highness for saving me” !

I smiled and said” I couldn't just leave you to fend for yourself it would be wrong”! “Thank you “she said” but I must be going now before my mother gets to worried “

But I wasn't going to let her go without her name first so I said “can I at least know the name of the lady I rescued “?

She smiled and blushed then said “my name is Isabel and you are prince Edward”

she said!

Thank you Isabel “I said as I watched her run down the street toward her home. The sun was starting to set so I stared toward the castle feeling happy and warm inside I knew I was in love when I got back to the castle my personal servant and best friend tom was waiting for me he said your highness the queen has been worried about you where have you been I told him to excited to feel upset he smiled and said so where does this girl live I don't know I admitted but I intend to find out!

As we started toward the hall there suddenly was a massive bang coming from the hall we ran to the place and there stood a woman with a tall pointed hat and dressed in black robes she was also very old and besides her was a young boy about my age handsome like me but looked very evil!

The king and queen looked fearfully at her and said “what do you want”?

She said in a croaking voice “to make sure the kingdom gets ruled the way I like it and to do that I will have to get rid of your son” the king and queen looked horrified then said how are you going to do that “like this” said the witch and with one snap of her fingers I saw my face change I was no longer the boy I used to be instead there was a face that I could hardly recognize pail long skinny white face sunken eyes and long stringy black hair I looked hideous like I had just recovered from a long and terrible sickness the only recognizable thing about me was my voice even my body looked like a skeleton I looked down and saw that tom was gone and in his place stood a brown collie dog the same color as his hair !I looked up shock and anger showing on my face my parents the same then she laughed and said the spell can only be broken if you find true loves kiss which I doubt will never happen if it does not happen after two years exactly you will stay in your form forever you will be pronounced dead and then my son her will be king wont you Balike he sneered at me I growled at him ! The witch then said” I am sending your son into exile he will go to the high school down the road there is an apartment there for him and his pet she laughed and looked at him your parents will not help you. You will have to fend for yourself I have already put a spell on them and they will do anything I say so know the king has sighed you into exile so everyone will think your gone and at the end of two years if you have not found someone to love you I will put Balike on the throne and announce you dead”! I looked at my parents they seemed to be in a daze like they were half asleep then the which showed me a paper and said “this is signed by the king you are in exile know go to the school your dog knows where the apartment is”! So I left the castle with tom at my side I said to him “lead the way” he wined and looked back at the castle I got his meaning and said “I wish I could but there is nothing I can do she is a witch and I know nothing about magic we have to leave we will only make things worse if we stay so we must go and hope I meet someone who will love me enough to break the spell”.Tom nodded his shaggy head and set off down the road until we came to a old building which said Country High school ! He nodded the set off once more down the street across the school was a block of apartment buildings we went inside then up the elevator to the very top tom entered one room where there was a board that had a place for you to sign your name and age and all those other little things I did that first then looked around the room I was a one room apartment with a bed a small kitchen and a toilet and in the corner was a little dogie bowl and bed it also had a small fridge which was empty! I looked at tom and said “the first thing to do is go out to find a place to work so that we can by food to eat “tom nodded I said “I don't think you can come with me I don't think they would let dogs into store or workplaces so you will have to stay her and guard the apartment OK”. Tom the obedient servant he was lay down on the mat and wined “I am sorry but the witch turned you into an Animal and animals are not allowed into work places I will be fine the good thing is no one will recognize me so I don't have to worry about kidnappers and I am strong enough to take care of myself!” Tom shook his head but did not make a move so I said goodbye and left the apartment to look for work!

Chapter2

I set off down the street to find a place to work I had a story in my mind that I would make if they asked me who I was I went into the first store which said help needed I went up to the desk and asked the lady at the desk if I could speak to the manager about a job? “What’s your name boy “she asked “Edward sanders “I said .She picked up the intercom and said “boss there is a Mr. Edward Sanders to see you about a job!”She put the intercom down and said “the boss Mr. Macky will see you now” she said pointing to the door behind her, “thank you” I said and went into the office there at a large desk sat a middle aged man he looked up and said how my I help you boy I came here to ask about a job I said he stared at me then said you sure don't look like the working type have you just recovered from malaria or something? I didn't know what to say so I just said yes then he said “I need strong workers to lift heavy boxes and work late at night I can’t have anybody fainting or falling in my work place and I can’t take responsibility for it ether”!”Don't worry I said it’s not as bad as it looks and I really need the money to get into high school and to pay rent and to eat”! He looked at me for some time then said “how old are you boy”? “18 “I lied” living by yourself “? “Yes sir a transfer student I just rented an apartment I really need the money please I promise I won’t be any trouble”!Mr. Macky was thoughtful a moment then said well hers what I will do I will give you the job if you promise not to blame anything on me if something happens to you! I readily agreed then he smiled and said OK. You got the job! Thank you sir I said when do I start every day after school from three to six if you do well you will earn a dollar everyday if you do poorly then you earn half a dollar do I make myself clear very I said !Good then I expect you to morrow at three sharp ! I will be here I said well you may go! I stood up shock his hand and left the office feeling very pleased with myself but I still had no money and was hungry oh well I said I guess I will just have to wait until tomorrow I said to myself as I went toward the apartment and went to bed! The next morning I woke up hungry and tired and tom was the same but I promised to bring him some food home from the cafeteria for him then I said goodbye and went to see what kind of school I was in It looked newer on the inside then it did on the outside with Whitewashed walls and a black and white tiled floor! It was very quiet and at the end of the hall was a single door which read PRINCIPLES OFFICE! I went over to the door and opened it there was a single desk with papers scattered all over it at the desk sat an elderly woman she looked up and said oh my what happened to you boy did you get sick I just nodded then she said you must be the new boy Edward right I nodded right then she then held out a paper to me and said please sign your name her after I did she handed me my class schedule! I thanked her and left the room then went up the stars to the first classroom on the left then I opened the door wondering what kind of reaction I would get from the children! I opened the door walked in slowly and closed the door when I looked up I turned red in the face the whole class even the teacher was staring at me with an open mouth I walked over to the desk and the teacher regained himself and said your name please still red in the face I said my name and then the teacher said welcome to the class Edward hum where should you sit all the children shifted uncomfortably finally he said there is one empty seat in the back Isabel do you mind sharing your desk space I looked up did he just say Isabel I looked over o the back and sure enough there she was as lovely as ever I wondered what she would do she shrugged and scooted to the fare end of the desk good said the teacher you may go sit there I went this time I felt butterflies in my stomach as I got closer to the desk I could feel all eyes following me I tried to ignore them and moved faster toward the back when I got there I said I quick hi! She sort of grimaced and nodded my fears were confirmed she did not recognize me and I looked hideous! So I closed my mouth and sat down keeping my eyes on the desk occasionally I would look up to see what her face looked like it looked like she was angry and embarrassed and I sort of guessed why she was embarrassed because she had to sit with me and it would be talked about all over school and was angry because had to sit next to such an ugly boy I knew it without even having to read minds which of course I couldn't! So I sat there staring at my desk feeling terrible I sat like that for an hour until the bell rang and was the last one to leave then the teacher came up to me and touched me on the shoulder and said I am sorry I looked up at him and said in a chocking voice why? Because I know how you feel I was like you in my high school years the ugly duckling but If you wait a while you will soon see that the topic will fade away and people will just leave you alone and not talk to you at all he smiled sadly and left the room! I sat there thinking well he was nice but I sure don't like to be ignored or have no friends! With that I got up and started toward the cafeteria! I went to the door to the cafeteria opened it and walked inside the noise stopped and everyone began to whisper quietly I ignored them went up to the food counter and began to fill my tray I had not eaten since yesterday and I was very hungry and also I and to get food for tom so I filled my tray up and sat down on a table at the far end of the cafeteria were I had a good view of Isabel she sat crowed by friends and was laughing with them !I stared at the girl could she passably be the one to break the spell I thought to myself I doubted it after this morning who would want to be true let alone friends with someone with a face like me I doubted any girl would I would be stuck like this without friends and alone for ever She would never see me for who I truly was my heart felt like it would break I stared at my food losing my appetite and wishing I could die with that thought the bell rang I gathered the food in the bag I had brought and set off for my next class! The rest of his day went like that everyone avoided me made strange faces or whispered when they saw me all the teachers seemed to be kind sweet people who tried to encourage me but that just made me feel worse by the end of the school finished I was more than happy to go home as soon as the bell sounded I was the first one to leave the school I ran to my apartment dropped my books off and ran out before tom knew I had come back I went to MR. Mackys office and he set me to work it was hard work but by the end of the working hour I had finished quite a bite of work and got my dollar I went home payed the rent and went to my room tom was eating some of the food I had brought back with me from school he looked up and waged his tale I sat down on the bed then I said Isabel was at the school !He looked at me and raised one bushy eyebrow I went on to tell him all that had happened he looked at me sadly then came over and put a paw on my lap and put his head on my knee and wined I sighed and patted him on the back saying we might as well get used to it I have a feeling that it will take more than two years for me to find my true love !He nodded sadly and went to his bed I turned off the lights and went to bed!

Chapter3

I got up the next morning washed my face had a quick bite then I went to school I went to the hall to my locker room and saw two brawny muscled boys standing by my locker they did not look like they were up to any good and I sure did not want to pick a fight with them so I went up to them and said in my most polite voice excuse me but that my locker space! They both looked at me then said what none of these lookers belong to anyone but us and if you want to use any of them you got to pay squirt! I looked at them then said I am not looking for a fight but that is my space and you have no right to it so please just let me past! Maybe we haven't made ourselves clear this belongs to us and no one gets by without paying !they were starting to work on my nerves so I did something really stupid I yelled at them and said let me past or I will break both of your fat proud noses ! That did they swung around grabbed me by the shirt collar and said not before we break yours smart pants! What they were going to do next I don't know because before they could do anything I heard a sweet voice that I knew well by know saying stop put him down I was surprised when they listened to her she went on its not a far fight two against one is not fair at all now go before I report you to the teacher! They nodded dropped me roughly to the floor and ran down the hall! She nodded and turned to leave it was now or never! Wait! I said she turned slowly around surprised that I had spoken to her what do you want she said not angry at all thank you I said she nodded and said it wasn't a fair fight so I stopped it they always listen to me! I stood up again she looked uncomfortable not sure what to say then what she said did surprised me you have a beautiful voice she said I looked down on her for I was very tall and she was very small she just came up to the middle of my chest and said thank you that’s the nicest thing anyone has said to me since I came here! Oh! She said I am sorry but I didn't know what to do everyone else though you were some kind of hideous monster I was angry at them and at myself even though you are not handsome you are not hideous ether and I was afraid and embarrassed that if I spoke up then people would laugh at me but I just could not stand by and let those too bullies beat you up like that I would like to be your friend if you will let me and also please do forgive my behavior toward you? Of course I said happy and joyful she wanted to be my friend and she asked for forgiveness this was the best day of my life since I first came here! She smiled and said great thank you so much then she turned still smiling and walked away and I stood looking at her as she left to happy for words as I turned and went the other way I felt happy and loved again and I felt like that for the rest of the day! At the end of the day when I came home from work tom noticed something was different about me as I came in whistling a happy tune after I put the groceries away and made something to eat I told him about what had happened that day he seemed just as excited about it as I was who knows I said she might be the one to break the spell after all and with that thought I drifted off to sleep! The next few days went by like this I was still ignored but it had worn off and Isabel was adding me into her circle of friends she seemed to like to talk to me about her problems and I seemed always to help her solve them as time went by I felt madly in love with her but she never seemed to show any affection for me only as a friend and nothing more so I left it like that hoping that she would one day see me for the prince I really was underneath this mask! Time went by it was almost the end of the month when one day a new boy came to our school He was tall handsome black hair up to his shoulder blue eyes and a seductive smile I recognized him at once Balike the witches son she must have sent him her to make sure that I had no girls for friends and if I did to get them to turn against me somehow I was so made I hated that boy and now there was a crowd of girls around him fluttering there eyelashes and trying to talk to him he smiled at them all and walked over to Isabel I was right this was all part of the plain to keep me as I was! He went up to her and said in a seductive voice that I knew had to be enchanted with magic said Hi I am Balike what is your name ? Isabel she said blushing! I suddenly felt a sharp flush of jealous anger and stood in the corner fuming and waiting him talk to Isabel he had her captivated I knew that there had to be magic somewhere no girl would be captivated by a boy that long without at least moving her head no matter how good looking the boy was! My suspicions were confirmed when he left all the girls put their hands to their heads and said that was so strange it was like I was not able to turn my head at all! Isabel came up to me and said can you believe it he just asked me out to the year end beach party and I said yes there was no way I could say no to such a charming face although his voice is a little rough and deep not like yours soft and warm! But I just could not say now he is so handsome and she walked away as if in a daze! So she likes my voice I thought scornfully and she likes his looks huh I wonder if she would chose me if I looked like I used to or dose she like his look better how should I know and he is using magic to seduce her! I shook my head and walked away miserable all over again that night I told tom what had happened he never let her out of his sight I said he follows her around like a cat stoking a mouse! And he has invited her to the dance can you believe that and she accepted can’t say I blame her she was half asleep when he asked her I just have to find a way to help her not to go with him there is no doubt that he will rape her and dump her maybe even kill her that is what the witch would want get rid of her she is just making things easier for her eliminate her so she sends her son to do her dirty work it makes me disgusted to even think about it I have got to find a way to stop her from going to that party!
Chapter 4.

So I tried whenever she would talk to me about him I would try to make him sound bad I called him every bad name I knew cheater seducer and after a while I was becoming desperate so I told her that he was going to rape you and that you have fallen into his trap you gave in to fast and know his plain is going in order she asked me how I knew all this and I said it is obvious he comes up to you first and asks you out on the spot and you were too blind to say no !She looked at me and said with tears coming down her face you are just jealous and want to keep me away from him I have never meet a sweeter boy and you are just trying to robe me of my happiness She let out a deep sob and ran out of the Cafeteria! I sat there stunned I had made her cry that was something I defiantly did not want to do all I was trying to do was protect her OK maybe I was jealous but it was for a good reason and I was not angry at her I was just trying to help her see the truth but she had been blinded by sweet word and was headed right into deaths door I had to do something and it was obvious that talking would not work but I could keep a close eye on her that was one thing I could do know that she would probably not speak to me anymore for a while so I resorted to spending my time spying on her whenever she was alone with Balike most of the time it was hard to look without making a noise because whenever they were together he was ether kissing her or touching her breasts or some other part of her body and she seemed to like it every night I told tom what happened and he was losing faith that things would ever work out for good and he would be stuck as a dog for eternity! I was a bit more hopeful as I thought up a plain to save her life if anything went wrong! The days went by the year was coming to a end and the holidays were starting there was more work to be done during the Christmas season so I was kept busy working I was living fairly well by then had enough food and payed the bills every month and was able to by a small turkey for myself and tom! All too soon the party came around I of course was not invited but I went anyway after all I said to myself the beach doesn't belong to them So I went with tom for a walk by the beach! It was a clear starry sky and I looked from a hill at the party tom by my side while I searched for her in the crowed I saw her standing by the water in sarong and Balike standing next to her He suddenly leaned over and said something to her she nodded and they went off down to a dark deserted part of the beach I nodded to tom and we followed them carefully from behind then we waited I saw him start to kiss her and make love soon he stared becoming harsher and started thrashing her around I saw her try to pull away then get jerked back she tried again and then I saw him draw a sharp Knife out from behind him and point it at her throat now was my chance I ran toward him with tom barking furiously beside me Balike looked up and laughed saying do you really think you can fight me off I smiled nodded at tome and he ran down and bit him in the leg this surprised him so much that he drooped the knife and Isabel ran quickly to my side then we ran off together toward my house! We got to my house just as the sun was rising then I took her up to my room where we both sat on the bed and tried to catch our breath tom came in a little while later panting and sat down on a floor mat besides me when we had both calmed down Isabel said thank you so much for saving me she said I said hey it wasn't an even fight !She smiled then laughed !Then said I am sorry for not listening to you I should have seen it but I was too blind !That’s alright I said I am glad you are fine though then she looked down at tom and said and who might this be I smiled and said this is my very good friend and companion Tom! Tom barked happily!she smiled thank you too tome !then I said are you hungry she yawned and nodded I’ll go make something I said I came back with two sandwiches to find her sound asleep on my bed! I shook my head and smiled saying as I picked her up and put her properly on the bed this is the second time I have saved this girl from certain death it must be destiny for us to be together! I tossed both sandwiches to tome and lay down on the couch and soon I was asleep as well!

Chapter5.

The next morning I woke up to find it snowing it was Christmas and I was happy I looked over to see if Isabel was still asleep she was so I busied myself by making breakfast ! Soon tom woke up and came and stood by my feet! Mary Christmas tom I said !he barked back and I smiled and said a very Mary Christmas indeed! Soon I heard Isabel wake up I turned around and there she was smiling I said good morning merry Christmas Isabel she answered back and a good morning and a Merry Christmas to you to Edward! Smiling I said I made breakfast are you hungry? I am starved she said. As we sat down to eat Isabel said you know last night reminded me of one night not long ago when I was coming home from school in a different part of town I was attacked by a gang of men when I was rescued by a prince Edward he was about your age as well and his name was also Edward and he even sounded like you can you believe the coincidence? I looked at tom and he smiled knowingly then I said it truly is amazing! isn't she agreed !so I said what do you want to do today its Christmas eve there must be something you want to do. She smiled and said if you don't mind I rather just stay her and hide for right know I am still recovering from the shock of yesterday. No that’s fine I said and to myself I said she wants to stay with me she must like me then I said but my home can get kinda boring there really is nothing to do in my house that’s fine she said I enjoy just talking to you it makes me feel happy really thanks I said and I enjoy talking to you too! So we talked all morning about are likes and dislikes and so forth that by the end of the morning we had a pretty good picture of what we were like then in the afternoon we made popcorn and watched a movie together rand after that She helped me make Christmas dinner and we ate together with Tom feasting away in a turkey leg we talked and laughed late into the night until we fell asleep together on the couch! The next morning I woke up to see her snuggled against my chest I smiled and sighed happily this was the best day of my life and I couldn't get enough of it I was so happy that I never wanted to move from this spot again! Then Isabel moved and woke up she smiled and said good morning Edward good morning Isabel I said sweetly. We got up and went to the bathroom while she took a shower I made breakfast then sat down and talked with Tom . It could be soon tom the spell could be broken soon and you could go back to being a person again tom barked to show his excitement and then she came out of the shower and said Edward I would like you to meet my parents I am sure they would be very happy to meet you After what you have done for me you can bring tom as well my mother loves Animals so am sure she will be delighted to see him do you want to come? More than anything I wanted to see where she lived and what her parents were like so I said sure I will come just let me get cleaned up first OK she said then sat down by the table and I went into the shower to wash up I came out an hour later smelling fresh and clean wearing new cloths I had bought nothing to fancy but not too casual blue jeans and a white tee-shirt with a Jacket my hair wet was smoothed back out of my face and she thought I looked acceptable enough so with my heart pounding I went with her with Tom following behind to see her parents!

Chapter 6.

Isabel lived in a better part of town not extremely wealthy more middle class and lived in a nice quit neighborhood!we passed by many houses me wondering where she lived in which house I thought to myself soon we came to a two story white washed house with a small garden and flowers hanging over a white gate! Well here we are she said ready to meet my parents I smiled I am now she smiled OK. I’ll go first then call you over when I have explained everything to them OK I said she opened the gate walked up to the door opened it and said mom dad it’s me I am home! I heard footsteps come from some ware in the house and then I saw a middle aged woman thin and slight in her 40s come to the door behind her was a man who thought looked a lot like Mr. Macky but maybe that was just my imagination I waited impatiently while they talked then I saw her point in my direction I saw them both nod then Isabel called and said come on Edward there are two people I would like you to meet I came out from the gate with tom behind me and saw the man’s eyes widen in surprise I did the same for their standing at the door was none other than Mr. Macky! There was silence for a moment while the two women looked at us both puzzled then Mr. Macky said Hello Edward I am surprised to see you so am I Mr. Macky I had no Idea that you were Isabel father!! Isabel interrupted and asked in surprise you know each other? Certainly said Mr. Macky Edward here works for me at my store. Oh! Said Isabel surprised well it is a small world! Indeed said her mother well come in Edward you are most welcome here and can tom come in to? I asked polity Mrs. Macky looked down at tom smiled and said of course he can come in you must know I love animals especially dogs! I nodded amused then we all went into the house it was well furnished with a TV large kitchen counter and a large round table and a cozy living room with a piano! Mrs. Macky led us over to the table sat us down and went to the kitchen soon returning with tea she sat down next to Mr. Macky then said now will you tell us how you both met and how you saved her from almost being killed ! So I began starting from when Isabel and I first met at school up to now. When I had finished they said amazing son we are forever in tour debt and are very grateful is there anything we can do for you? I wanted to laugh at their request because the thing I wanted the most they could not give me and only Isabel could so I said politely no thanks it was a honor to help your daughter it was the lest I could do. Such a noble hart almost as noble as a prince wouldn't you say Mr. Macky he nodded in agreement now I really wanted to laugh they didn't know how close they were from the truth but I kept my mouth shut and just smiled .then Mrs. Macky said at least stay for dinner wont you? Oh yes please do said Isabel excitably I smiled at her then said why not I would love to stay ! Wonderful said Mrs. Macky then we must get ready for tonight! That night as we ate together we laughed and talked and laughed some more just like family when that was over we all went into the living room to watch a movie together then we all went to bed while I slept with tom next to me on the floor me on a extra bed in a extra room and that night I dream t that I was back to normal and was married to Isabel and the witch was dead and so was her son and we were living happily together. The next morning I woke up to the smell of pancakes cooking I got up got dressed and went to the kitchen to see Mrs. Macky and Isabel frying pancakes they looked up smiled at me then Isabel put the pan down and came over to me and said good morning did you sleep well very well I said smiling. that’s wonderful said Mrs. Macky interrupting us but now it is time to eat we sat down to eat and a few minutes later Mr. Macky came to join us he said good morning and began to eat ! After breakfast we helped wash the dishes then Isabel said dad mom I want to take Edward her around the town I am sure he hasn't seen it all yet then I can come back with him what do you think ? Great Honey just doesn’t be out to late and come home before twelve! I promise she said then looked at me and said do you want to go? Certainly I said I called tom and we went off together she was right of course being a prince I had only seen so much of the kingdom but I was hoping with all my heart that she would not take me to see the castle I could not bear the thought and it could mean trouble for us both if the witch found out! But I could not tell her the reason because who would believe it anyway such things are not even supposed to exist and there is supposedly no such thing as magic so I kept that to myself nervous until I found out that we were not going toward the castle then I relaxed and enjoyed the day with her we stopped at a park to eat and talk we talked about all sorts of things and then started on again till it began to get dark so we stared toward home when we got to her house I said goodbye and that I had better go home myself she begged me to stay longer so I said I would go in just for a quick goodbye and thank you so I went inside said my thanks for their hospitality and said goodbye they invited me to come again anytime I thanked them and turned o leave then I heard a wait !As I was opening the gate I turned around and Isabel was there she came toward me and said mom said to invite you for new years, she said shyly. I nodded then touch the gate to open it she said again wait! I just wanted to thank you properly for saving me and saying that she threw her arms around me in a warm embrace much to my shock so I hugged her back behind me I heard tom bark it sounded a bit more like a snicker! I smiled and said while still holding her thank you. Your welcome she said then looked puzzled for what? For being a friend to me when no one else would I said gently .she smiled and said thank you for being a friend to me and helping me when I needed help the most! Your welcome I said then I pulled back gently and said I must go before it gets too late she nodded and let me go I opened the gate and set off toward my apartment!
Chapter7.
The next few days went by it was the holidays now with just a few day left to the new year so I sent most of my time with Isabel ether she coming over of me going over to her house she seemed to like me as a friend but that was all at least it seemed like that to me she never did more than hug me before I went home every night so I supposed she loved me like family or a brother of something like that but I hadn't lost hope and every night I dreamed of her and me together happily married !Tom was also excited and when I asked him what he dreamed about every night he told me through my questions that he dreamed about being human again! I wasn't surprised at that I also wanted him human again because it was getting tiresome to continually talk to him in this way! Soon it was New year’s eve Isabel came to get me and together we went over to her house to celebrate New year’s we had a special dinner talked and laughed and looked at old photographs of when she was younger after that we started the countdown to the new year popped the Champagne and celebrated late into the night! The next morning we woke up some time around one and began to tidy up then we all showered and went out to a restraint to eat a nice steak dinner by the time we got back it was dark and late so slept one more night at their home! The next morning I woke up before anyone else and went out for a walk in the early morning tried to clear my thoughts and emotions! Then I heard a noise behind me looked around and saw tom come running toward me I smiled and he came and sat next to me never going to be able to sneak out on your guard eh tom he waged his tail and panted I suppose not I said good old tom so faithful and loyal anybody would want you for a friend I thought myself .Then suddenly tom stood u and growled what is it tom I said hats wrong he began to bark ferociously in the into the direction of a dark alley! I looked toward the ally searching for whatever tom saw to make him so angry then out of the shadows I saw something move holding something shinny like a knife I tensed as I looked closer it was Balike he came out of the shadows sneering then he screamed and ran toward me holding the knife I dodged him sending him spinning just missing a brick wall he turned around his eye were red I knew he was under a spell his mother must have put it on him to make him go made he ran toward me again I tried to doge but he got me in the ribs then he picked me up and threw me my head hit the brick wall I heard a crack and that was the last thing I remembered! I woke up to find myself surrounded by beeping noises I had a terrible pain in my head I looked up and saw an anxious face with red rimmed eyes looking at me I tried to focus on the face and saw that it was Isabel I tried to speak but all I could say was Isabel she nodded trying to hold back tears then I managed a what happened? She swallowed and said when I woke up and saw that you were gone along with tom I got up and decided to go over to your house to see if you were there my dad went with me we were almost there when we heard shouting and screaming we ran to the direction of the noise and saw tom biting and tearing into some one we ran over but it was to lat and he was dead already I saw that it was Balike but that is not what horrified me the most on the other side lying against a brick wall was you lying still will blood all over your head and shirt we ran over to you your heart was still faintly beating so we called the abidance and brought you hear to the hospital you have been out for 3 whole days! She started crying again I looked at her feeling strangely calm and said Isabel I don't feel like I could survive another day the pain is already numbing and I feel like I am at deaths door but before I go there is something I must tell you! She sobbed and I went on I love you I have loved you since the moment I saw you and now I can die happy knowing that your face is the last thing I will see on this earth goodbye and with I felt myself fade away!

Chapter 8

( Through Isabel's eyes)

I sat there in shook no I cried out loud please don't die it would make me so sad you are the best thing that has happened to my life I need you! You make me happy please come back I looked down at tom who looked at me sorrowfully then I leaned over and kissed him saying as I did I love you! No sooner had I said those words then a strange transformation came over him I pulled back in shock for their lying peacefully on the pillow was none other than the Prince Edward who had saved my life at the palace I stood staring to stunned to speak then I heard another voice behind me saying in a deep voice the spell is broken I spun around and there smiling a sweet smile was a boy the same age as Edward with blue eyes and a lanky body wearing nothing but a pair of dirty black pants that matched his hair I looked at him then said who are you? He grinned and said why I am tom!

Now I was truly puzzled I looked down to see the dog gone and in his place a boy then I remembered once hearing about the princes servant boy named tom could this be him I looked at him and said would you explain what in the world is going on and how prince Edward is lying in a hospital bed? So tom told me everything at the end of the story I sat down looked at Edward and said amazing truly amazing so tom I said will he be alright? Tom went over looked at him a moment and said I think he will take some time but he will heal then I said what are we going to tell the nurses and my parents we cannot truly think they would believe such a story as that!

Tom smiled and said leave it up to me!Soon he left the room and a doctor came in and looked at Edward his eyes widening in surprise then said why I do believe he is right this is the prince come in tom and see for yourself tom came very soberly and said in a voice that made me giggle yes this is the master he ran away and we had no idea where he went I am so glad to see that he is safe I will go home and report this to the king and queen and winking at me he left the room! Then the doctor looked at me and said you had no Idea that it was the prince no I said smiling he was in a mask!

The doctor nodded looked at Edward shook his head and left the room!

I turned and saw that Edward was awake I went over to him and smiled he smiled back and said now you know who I really am! I smiled and said I have loved you also since the day I meet you if I had only known it was you I would have said it sooner he smiled and said and I have always loved you! I know I said and bent down to kiss him once more!

Soon Edward was well enough to go home I decided to tell my parents the truth at first they did not believe but after Edward and his parents confirmed it they were surprised as I was but happy for me all the same soon after Edward proposed to me and we were happily married! The evil which had fled on hearing of her son’s death so we lived together happily for the rest of our days happily ever after!
